Just when I’d concluded old school media was dead and most of my revenue would be coming from content marketing, I’ve been clasped to the bosom of the Fairfax Small Business section. At the behest of the editor, in recent weeks I’ve interviewed a bunch of plucky Aussie entrepreneurs trying to pocket some yuan, dived into the geeky world of Australia’s indie game-making scene and profiled a Greek-Australian rock star turned real estate mogul turned motivational speaker. I also got to chat to the head of AstraZeneca’s Australasian arm and the CEO of Medicines Australia about the possibility of this country carving out a large slice of the global drug-making pie. It’s almost like being a real journalist again!
