Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has leaked online, hinting at a display upgrade for the super-sized tablet.
According to renders published by Gizmochina, the Tab S11 Ultra will feature a capacious 14.6-inch screen, just like its attention-grabbing predecessor, as well as a slim-bezel design and notched front camera array, keeping continuity with the current generation.
While confirmed details on specifications remain scarce, industry chatter suggests the upcoming model will boast MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
It seems it will also have a 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 11,600mAh battery. Other noteworthy features are an IP68 rating, Wi-Fi 7 and Galaxy AI.
All of which will be packed into a thin 5.1mm body. Samsung is expected to bundle the latest S Pen stylus, as it has in previous Ultra models.
The entry-level 11-inch Galaxy Tab S11 is also getting a refresh and will have many of the same features, aside from its 8,400mAh battery and slightly less impressive camera.

So far, Samsung has the supersized consumer tablet market to itself
If the reports are accurate, the Tab S11 Ultra would remain one of the largest consumer tablets on the market. Apple’s iPad Pro currently tops out at 13 inches, and many popular tablets are significantly smaller than that.
Nonetheless, Samsung obviously believes that there are some demographics, such as creatives, educators and gamers, who want a laptop-sized screen, even if that creates portability issues.
Samsung reportedly plans to unveil the S11 family in September, likely alongside new foldable devices.
With global tablet shipments rebounding in 2025, new Ultras might just reignite interest at the top of the market.
Whether the gamble pays off will depend on pricing, software optimisation and, of course, how much consumer demand there is for an (almost) 15-inch tablet.
